National Group Info
The Marin Parents of Multiples Club has membership in the National Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs, Inc (NOMOTC). Each year, we pay about 20% of MPOMC’s annual membership dues directly to NOMOTC for our own membership with them, and for excellent reason: it is through the national organization – the big umbrella over us regional groups – that we derive our nonprofit status.
NOMOTC hosts conferences each year, collects research and publishes original developmental reports relating to multiples, assists new twins clubs with set up procedures and bylaws, campaigns for awareness of twins’ related health issues, prints and sends a newsletter, “The Notebook”, twice a year, plus offers a host of other multiples-related projects and programs. Each regional club may participate at any level they wish.

MPOMC also maintains membership with the Northern California Association of Mothers of Twins Clubs (NCAMOTC) and periodically, an officer will audit one of our meetings. Membership in this larger organization is important too, for the proper functioning of MPOMC. Please visit http://www.ncamotc.com/ for more information.
While MPOMC retains its own federal tax ID number, and files its own federal group exemption each year, we do nonetheless need and appreciate these valuable organizations to legitimize our active Marin County, California parents club.
